WHY IS FIBER IMPORTANT?

Our intestinal tract requires fiber and water to keep it flowing smoothly with good speed like a flowing river to bind undigested particles and toxic wastes and eliminate them out through regular bowel habit.

There is many evidence to suggest that disease common to modern society is due to the shift to low fiber and refined diets of white flour and sugar such as white bread cakes,cookies,burgers and soft drinks. Regular consumption of low fiber diet increased the risks of hemorrhoids,constipation,flatulence,excessive gas,gallstones,diabetes,obesity,varicose veins,heart disease and colon disease. According to 1997 World Cancer Research,dietary protection against stomach,colon,oesophagus,pancreas,breast and bladder is diet high in vegetables,grains and fruits.
